Great hotel for groups of friends. They provide dinner and breakfast (each for 30 GEL), the dinner was amazing! Definitely try the eggplant with garlic ;)

The guesthouse is easy to find, it’s located in the lower part of Adishi on the street along the river. The rooms are big and warm, with comfortable beds and warm blankets, the hosts provide heaters if needed, there’s guest bathroom with shower and a boiler. The best part is definitely meals downstairs in the main room with Mukhran and Nargiza, if you are ready for a lively conversation you will enjoy the family atmosphere, generous delicious homemade food and some wine or chacha to the best of your ability. It was wonderful to stay with this lovely family at the end of a long day on the trek, such a heartwarming experience, I will never forget.

Adishi is a very small village, and it is obvious that the people living here have had to accommodate an increasing amount of tourists over a short period of time. This has had the unfortunate consequence, that facilities and meals etc. does not match the very high prices being charged. We were asked to pay 35 GEL for breakfast and 45 GEL for dinner per person. As we had not anticipated these prices, we had to decline breakfast (there is no way to withdraw cash once you leave Mestia). Dinner consisted mainly of soup, potatoes, salad and bread. We were given a cup of herbal tea and some tap water (not possible to buy bottled water at the guesthouse). We obviously do not know if these prices are similar to what is charged elsewhere in Adishi, but prices were higher than at other villages we stayed in on the trail. There is one bathroom to be shared amongst all the guests. We were 8 at the time. The guesthouse will ask if you want to cross the river the next day by horse. Don't expect to be able to negotiate once you get to the crossing point. The price is fixed at 25 GEL per person (higher than what we had expected as well from reading travel blogs, but there seem to have been quite a steep "inflation" this past year), and only the horse organized by the guesthouse will be allowed to bring you across.

The dinner was family style, shared dishes among every 4 people. There was enough to go around and they refilled our bowl of khachapuris as well. The rooms are simple with just the beds. And 2 shared bathrooms for the whole floor. The hosts were able to arrange a horse for the river crossing the next morning which was helpful

The host was waiting for me at the entrance to the village when I arrived. Wi-Fi and shower works well. Room is simple but clean and looks newly renovated . Food is very good and ample. The family runs its own shop for fruits and daily needs. Home-made wine is nice.

We arrived a bit late, she didn't see our booking but she welcomed us nicely. We met few members of the family, super friendly, the breakfast was huge and delicious. (They have the cutest cats) . Of all the villages we visited in Georgia, Adishi is our favourite and we will definitely come back in winter !!

    Had a great stay at Tamazi guesthouse !

    Had a great stay at Tamazi guesthouse ! Amazing views from the terrace where you can chill in a hammock with a glass of wine after a long day hiking . Also there is a horse that you can hire for ride around the village . The food was sure tasty And the owners are very friendly and engaging . Definitely recommend his place !
