Victor was a lovely host, always kind and talkative and offered fruits and juices upon arrival. The property has a cool homemade feel and was only 20 minutes from the ferry, though it was around 50 minutes drive to San Juan to any restaurants, a bike is recommended as it is nice and secluded if you’re looking for a nature off the grid feel.

Caroline was absolutely amazing! She really made this resort feel homey to us. She was so welcoming and hospitable. She recommended the restaurant near the hotel and it was amazing. Our room was very comfy. AC working well. everything was clean and as pictured. The resort dog was also very sweet. It is located away from the crowds and we found that really nice. it was peaceful. we rented motorbikes and had no problem getting around.

The owner was a genuinely kind person. There is a cafe on site with really good food and coffee/cocktails. The best part about the stay was the short walk to the waterfall on the property. It’s open to the public for a fee but free if you stay at Firefly. We went down early in the morning for a lovely dip in the cool water before anyone else got there. Adorable dogs and cats onsite too!
